Super friendly and helpful staff. Very accommodating last minute when we were let down by a retreat for dogs in Formby on my daughters wedding day. The staff managed to secure us a room with 3 dogs allowing us to bring them up to Gretna the same day. Thank you so much. You were amazing
Called off here for a quick drink and can’t understand why it isn’t busy. Staff were attentive and friendly. Beer was good and pub is a lovely place. Would recommend.
Very friendly and helpful staff, who made us feel welcome for our one night stay. Our room was clean tidy and well presented. Breakfast was nicely cooked and served well. Big mugs of tea and coffee, Good value for money all round. Close to motorway and Gretna Green blacksmiths shop.
New owners went above and beyond to help our wedding party have an amazing day.. Wasn't serving food as no chef in place as yet and still doing the place up but they allowed us to use the pub and crockery to order in a Chinese.. The landlady even took some of us to collect the food. Really wish them the best for the future. Thanks again for making our day a special one.
Called in to meet a friend who lives in Gretna. Recently refurbished. Friendly staff. Was very quiet for a Sunday afternoon. Car park at the rear.

Very friendly and a great atmosphere. I should prefer crispier bacon but I'm pernikity. The denzians in the bar do speak French and German. Russian speakers are a bit too fast. If given the choice; park, walk, eat and relax. I await my next visit with childlike expectation.
